The Galleries at Moore

Founded in 1848 as an art school for women, Moore College of Art & Design continues its mission to train aspiring female artists and offer art classes to children and adults. The Benjamin Franklin Parkway institution welcomes visitors to its galleries with free exhibitions and programs that explore the work of established and emerging artists and designers. Here, participants in the Encore program from Art-Reach, a Philadelphia nonprofit that increases cultural participation in the disability and low-income sectors, experience the galleries.
