Philadelphia and the Countryside - Press Room

The Barnes Foundation

The Barnes Foundation

The Barnes Foundation displays one of the world’s the finest collections of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and early Modern paintings. The Barnes is also fully wheelchair-accessible, offers assistive listening devices and provides visitors with blindness or low vision opportunities to experience art multi-sensorially. Pictured here are visitors with low vision or blindness who are members of Art-Reach, a Philadelphia nonprofit devoted to increasing cultural participation among traditionally underserved audiences in the disability and low-income sectors.
