Philadelphia Skyline

Philadelphia Skyline

Philadelphia’s skyline, as viewed at sunset from the Spring Garden Street Bridge atop the Schuylkill River, is ever-changing. In the 17th century, city planner William Penn envisioned his city as a “greene country towne.” Today, Penn’s park-like squares remain, even as skyscrapers rise.
