Benjamin Franklin Sculpture

In a nod to Ben Franklin’s kite-and-key electrical experiment and his establishment of the city’s first fire department, James Peniston’s Keys to Community sculpture honors the city’s fallen fire fighters. Peniston incorporated thousands of keys donated by local school children and pennies from a previous Franklin bust into the nine-foot-tall bronze sculpture.
