The National Shrine of St. John Neumann

The National Shrine of St. John Neumann

The National Shrine of St. John Neumann, part of the active parish of St. Peter the Apostle, houses the remains of the bishop who’s credited with establishing the diocesan Catholic school system in America. In the basement of the baroque Philadelphia church, a glass altar allows for viewing of St. John Neumann’s body.
