Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk

Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk

The Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk extends the Schuylkill River Trail by four blocks to the South Street Bridge. Part of the Maine-to-Florida East Coast Greenway Alliance, the popular Schuylkill River Trail sees about 19,000 weekly users, and those walkers, runners and bikers enjoy this accessible and scenic connection to Philadelphia’s Graduate Hospital and University City neighborhoods. The 15-foot-wide concrete boardwalk winds over the Schuylkill River near the eastern bank and features solar-powered overhead lights and widened overlooks for enjoying the view.
