Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk

Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk

The over-the-water Schuylkill Banks Boardwalk features solar-powered overhead lighting—much to the delight of walkers and joggers who enjoy their nighttime exercise. The four-block-long concrete boardwalk connects the popular Schuylkill River Trail to the South Street Bridge, thus serving as a gateway for people in the Graduate Hospital and University City neighborhoods. Entry points are located at Locust Street (near 25th Street) and the South Street Bridge.
