Philadelphia Skyline from City Hall Observation Deck

Philadelphia Skyline from City Hall Observation Deck

Standing at 542 feet, the tower of Philadelphia’s City Hall provides visitors with sweeping 360-degree skyline views from the observation deck, a highlight of the building tours. By a longstanding gentlemen’s agreement, which dictated that no structure rise above the tip of William Penn’s hat, City Hall was the tallest building in the city until 1987. It’s still the nation’s tallest municipal building.
