Cianfrani Park

Cianfrani Park

At 8th and Fitzwater Streets in South Philadelphia, Cianfrani Park was created more than 30 years ago at the site of a demolished school. In the early 1990s, a group of neighbors formed the Friends of Cianfrani Park and began to clean and improve the space. Today, gardens fenced with attractive wrought iron, flower-filled urns and benches make it a welcoming gathering spot for the community. Cianfrani Park hosts a Fall Festival—featuring a flea market, live music and food—and a summer concert series showcasing local talent.
