Powelton Village

Powelton Village

West Philadelphia’s Powelton Village neighborhood is known for its stately Victorian houses along tree-lined streets. Beginning in 1859, homes were built in every important style of Victorian architecture, and in 1985, Powelton made the National Register of Historic Places. Today, Lancaster Avenue, the area’s main thoroughfare, boasts shops, eateries and businesses.
