Singing Fountain

Singing Fountain

Running through the heart of South Philadelphia, East Passyunk Avenue breaks the mold with its diagonal direction—going against Philadelphia’s normal horizontal-and-vertical street grid. It’s home to shops, boutiques, cafes and some of the city’s most authentic Italian restaurants. Situated about midway along the street’s length the Singing Fountain, surrounded by benches and chess tables and playing festive music, from old-school Sinatra to modern pop.
