Philadelphia Science Festival

Philadelphia Science Festival

Every April, this community-wide celebration of science takes over the city with lectures, debates, hands-on experiments, special exhibitions and other informal scientific education experiences. A highlight of the festival: the alfresco (and free) Science Carnival, featuring interactive activities, live performances and amazing demonstrations on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Organizations and attractions such as Please Touch Museum® get in on the fun, inviting festival-goers to explore science in creative ways.
