Philadelphia and the Countryside - Press Room

Running through the heart of South Philadelphia is East Passyunk Avenue, a diagonal interruption through Philadelphia’s horizontal/vertical grid layout. The area boasts a wealth of independent boutiques, coffee shops and cafes, plus some of the city’s most authentic Italian restaurants. Marra’s has been a part of South Philly’s red-gravy legacy for more than 80 years, and it still enjoys a premier status on the avenue.
