30th Street Station

Dominating the concourse of Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, the Angel of Resurrection sculpture, which depicts an angel lifting a fallen soldier, memorializes the 1,307 railroad employees who lost their lives during World War II. The iconic work by artist Walker Hancock stands more than 36 feet high.
