Laurel Hill Cemetery

Laurel Hill Cemetery

The bodies of six Titanic passengers, 40 Civil War generals and myriad local icons reside for eternity at Laurel Hill Cemetery, one of the few cemeteries in the nation to be designated a National Historic Landmark. Though admission to the 75-acre spiritual, historical, cultural and horticultural space is free for self-guided walking, driving and cell-phone audio tours, many visitors purchase tickets for themed events and tours, such as “From Classy Broads to Daring Dames: The Ladies of Laurel Hill.”
