The Science of Glassblowing, one of the hundreds of (mostly free) activities during the Philadelphia Science Festival, examines the forces behind the beautiful craft. With hands-on fun for kids, sophisticated events for adults and a carnival along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the two-week, citywide Philadelphia Science Festival takes science out of the lab and demonstrates the role it plays in everydaylife.
