Moravian Pottery & Tile Works

Moravian Pottery & Tile Works

A proponent of the Arts and Crafts movement, Henry Chapman Mercer acted as director of this Bucks County pottery factory in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Today, visitors to the working history museum and National Historic Landmark watch the production of ornamental clay tiles using the same techniques as Mercer’s employees.
